MIDI Week 3

Here is a cool site I found which gives examples of famous synth sounds and samples. The first part focuses on overused sounds and is somewhat sarcastic, and the second part is more informative.

This week we will be discussing some music fundamentals, as I believe that the more you know about music the better you will be able to understand and use the features in music sequencing software. We will using material from Musictheory.net. Please bookmark this site for future reference.

We will also be learning about how MIDI messages work, and learning more about using DP.

If you have not read Chapter 1 in the textbook yet, please complete that and answer the questions at the end of the chapter. The answer to #10 is True.
